Re-defeat Communism

Postby Eyas on 06/19/08, 11:44 am

Stealing a page from the Leftist playbook.  Specifically, bumper stickers which read "Re-Defeat Bush" during the 2004 Presidential Campaign.

I just want to make sure that everyone here is on the same page that some Democrats are now OPENLY calling for COMMUNISM.

Marxine Waters' recent statements received almost no coverage.  A member of Congress -- in the middle of a Congressional hearing -- in public -- televised -- calls for nationalizing an industry, and THIS doesn't make news?!

Now Hinchey (D - NY) OPENLY calls for nationalizing refineries, and STILL, very few people talk about it.

Democrats have been wanting to Nationalize the Healthcare industry for years.

We must distinguish this from mere Socialism.

For some reason, Americans have been conditioned to scoff at accusations of communism -- as if it is not at all REAL.  As if Communism is not only NOT a threat to America; but that Communism no longer holds any negative connotation.

WE have to make a BIG DEAL about this.  Rush gives it passing lip-service, calling certain people Marxists.  Forget that term -- ("Marxist").  Forget the term "Socialist".  America needs to be reminded that Communism is ALIVE and WELL in this country, and in our government, TODAY.  America needs to be reminded that Communism is EVIL.

We may never reach the Communists themselves.  We may never reach Obama-backers.

But, the ill-informed, passive, MSM brainwashed BULK of America -- the "moderates"; the "independents"; the non-voters, the "American Idol" audience -- they need to be ROUSED from their slumber.

There is an ACTIVE coup d'etat in the offing --- PRESESNTLY.  As in, NOW.  TODAY.  YESTERDAY.

This cannot continue to be ignored any longer.

I don't have a solution.  I don't currently have suggestions.  This post isn't for discussing how to "fix" things.  It's not designed to come up with answers; or ways to fight the IMMINENT Communist threat.

I just need to know that I am not the only human being on the planet who is aware of the severity of this problem.

You are not alone.  I think I have been pretty consistent using the words leftist/Marxist/Communist which I hold to be synonymous with LIBERAL.

I can believe the MSM would ignore these recent Freudian Slips.  They are in on the deal and won’t “give up” their co-conspirators when they slip up and say what they mean.  With Obama running on an obviously Marxist platform they need to ignore and deflect as much as possible.

I suspect that Waters got a real drubbing from the DNC for saying the word in an open hearing.  I am frankly surprised she knew a four syllable word.

The person who voted "no" is almost certainly "GOPER" as it would be "harsh" to say so.

And how come everybody comments in my polls but nobody VOTES!

You are not alone in your thinking.  Actually, I have taken a grave risk in someone thinking that I may not be PC and made a comment about the whole Maxist/Communist equals Democrate - Obama idea to a few people and guess what. They agreeded. They didn't even look at me funny. Just said they haven't said anything to anyone because they didn't want to be thought of as a conspiracy theory nut.

I, too, believe that Demo-Rats are Commies.  Unfortunately not everyone thinks Communism is bad.  I was talking to a co-worker and he said "Communism can't be any worse than our current system of government".  I was speechless.  "Not as bad"?   I later found out he has a Masters Degree, maybe he spent way too much time being indoctrinated.  Personally I believe people will not wake up until it is way too late.  By the time they wake up we will have no means with which to revolt.

Actually, the more time spent in universities increases the likelihood that one accepts communism.  Universities are centers of communist indoctrination.  Few Americans understand the nature of communism.  Most of Americans are simply too naive to believe those things could really happen.  I don't say that to be mean but to point out the fact that life is so good here that Americans cannot believe people as evil as real communists exist.  Most Americans think that the stories about Stalin and Mao are exagerations.  We, as a people, reject the concept of evil and if you reject that concept you cannot accept how evil communism is.

and don't forget that Hinchey who is calling for socializing the oil companies is also the driver for the Fairness Doctrine.

I've been very disappointed with Rush.  He does not call these people socialists, marxists or communists.  He only refers to their ideology in those terms in passing and you know John McCain isn't going to bring out the socialist/marxist/communist labels to identify either Obama, the people around him or his ideology.

Obama is a marxist.  The problem with calling him that is that too many people do not know who Karl Marx was, anything about his Communist Manifesto or anything about his ideology.  My daughter even blew my mind one day when she asked me what a marxist is.  This is a Rush baby and she is a lover of history.  I raised her right but the Government school didn't teach her.  When I said communist, she knew, so perhaps we should drop the Marxist stuff and refer to them as communists.

The first takeover is socialist.  They have worked for decades to take over academia, media and law and been quite successful.  Our schools are nothing but indoctrination centers so what will that give us in another 10 years?  When the socialism of the US  has been successfully planted, the next step is communism.

We must work to dialogue this with anyone and everyone..talk about it, write about it, define it for people, spread the word.  Communism and Freedom cannot exist together.

[SIZE=12pt]I posted this under another heading in a response to why we are in this energy crisis.
You can get quick fast overview just by looking at Wikipedia under Communism, Communist Party USA, Marxist, and Socialist Party USA. There are links to other groups and periods of history. There are lists of article, books etc that can give you even more information on the subject.

A lot of the lower Bolsheviks and the ousted Mensheviks that never made the guest list or escaped the hit list of Lenin and Stalin ended up of here and in Canada before WW II.  They came with lots of money and set themselves up in prominent places such as Hollywood.  They laid low and slowly worked there way into the trade and labour unions.  Think back to the Taft-Hartley Act and why that bill was written.  The effects of WW II and the need of the country for labour and lots of it was the perfect place to make a play for redistribution of wealth and breaking the backs of large business owners. All under the guise of helping the poor factory worker get his fair and due share. It almost worked then except for that Act.
They learned well.  Find other ways along with unions, go slow, and place more people in higher places. Win some elections that would allow some key changes in policy to further the plan along. Find the one single thing that would eventually give them a great source of power. Energy. Find a vehicle to which now to control that energy. The environmentalist. Get control of this energy and use it to control everything else. Energy. Enron may have been the initial trial balloon that burst.
Fast forward.  The evil Bush in Office again! NO.! Gyorgy hates Bush. Steps up the pace. Get Algore in place. Ops. Get Obama in there.
Ops. Some one screwed up again and got ahead of the plan. Gas prices have attracted too much attention. How old is Gyorgy now?  Wants to see his life long dream come true before he dies.  The big question. Is it to late to stop the plan without having the country destroyed?

Rush and others have to balance a fine line. If they are looked at by the average listener as crazy they loose the listening base. If they promote the idea, they help spread the word for a short period of time but over the long run they risk not making enough money to continue to operate.  Educate about the current issue to get people to do their own homework. It is apparent that they have made some serious inroads or the Fairness Doctrine Act would not be making the rounds again. That is a bill of fear.  A new newspaper is needed; something in print that can help offset the AP. Maybe something as large as USA Today.  Tough nut to crack with papers since they are loosing market share all across the country.

The new website planned by the Heritage Foundation is wonderful. It may be the jumping off place to get the word out to students. The schools and are education system is a major problem.  College level education is something I have no idea how to combat, but I don't see the local school boards of elementary and high schools, at least in the near future, attempt to block that site since they would then have to explain to the locals why children should not be allowed to view a site about Communism. It would be instant death for getting re-elected.  If the search engines were set up correctly any inquiry for any key word such for China, Russia and other common subjects would put that site up as a choice to get information from.  Even something like Olympic ice skater could potentially have a link.

Private sites and on line media magazines are good but that is like preaching to the choir. The best way is to get someone in office(s) that can change some of these entitlement policies away from big government and back toward the private citizens and prove to the average Joe Q. Public that we do not really need government to do everything for us. Most people just don't have a grasp on how the Supreme Court decisions are so important. That battle has to be won but it does not get attention from everyone. The gas price has done what nothing else has done in years.  People are paying attention.
Keep up the pressure on the energy.

Postby Eyas on 06/21/08, 10:16 am

Thank you, guys.  I thought that I was going over the edge & that I'd soon be posting about all of the black helicopters following me.

I checked the vote a couple of hours after I originally posted it & there was one vote "Yes" and one vote "No".  I figured that I must be getting paranoid, so I took a little 48 hour break from news & internet & thinking about this stuff.

I am much relieved to know I'm not the only one.

Unfortunately, you must be hanging out with the "wrong" crowd (meaning the right crowd).  I'm encouraged that the people you said this to were all rational people, but I don't think it is representative of most Americans.

Yesterday on Glenn Beck's show, he quoted some poll (I don't remember where it was from) which indicated that 49% of Americans were in favor of nationalizing the oil industry.

This means one or both of the following:
1. 49% of Americans can no longer identify Communism, even when it is presented OPENLY to them; AND/OR
2. 49% of Americans no longer perceive Communism as a bad thing -- instead, it is actually desirable to them.

This is exactly what I'm talking about.

I agree with Paleo that the more so-called "education" a person has, the more likely they are to sympathize with or endorse Communism.  However, that's a relatively recent problem (last 20 yrs), and the acceptability of Communism is even more widespread than that.  In addition to the younger college-"educated" elitist crowd, there are many older "educated" people, and many "uneducated" folks who have been brainwashed (by the MSM) into acceptance of Communism.

Rush will occasionally say that someone is a "marxist"; but it seems that he uses the term as a euphemism.  It's as if he's embarrassed to actually label someone a "Communist".

You raise a good point, Mum.  When you call someone a "socialist" or a "Marxist", the bulk of Americans say to themselves, "Huh? What?  A 'socialist' -- big deal.  A 'marxist' -- what's that?"

The Left in this country is very good at defining debates in their terms.  As mentally disturbed as they are, they are masters of language, of connotation, of phrasing.  We (Rush included) MUST start calling these people what they are -- COMMUNIST.  Forget "Marxist" - no one gets it.  Forget "Socialist" -- it's not accurate.  Forget "Progressive" -- Progress towards what? (hint: it's communism)

Even this will be discounted by the MSM.  Even this will be dismissed by Democrats as "Evil Republican" talking points.  But, it may just grab the attention of the ill-informed "moderates" and middle-of-the-road American Idol watchers.  One thing is sure, if we continue to use euphemisms in this age of hyperbole, rather than labelling these people as  WHAT    THEY    ARE  ,  no one will pay attention.

This IS a talking point.  THE talking point.   The terms of the debate must be redefined... by sane people.

I have one suggestion for everyone in their dealings with "liberals" or "moderates".

I suggest asking two questions:

1. What is Communism?

Communism is:  a) A totalitarian system of government in which the State controls the means of production (i.e., the economy; industry)
                          b) A theory advocating the elimination of private property

2. What is it about Communism that they find appealing?

"Moderates" will likely say that they don't like Communism -- utterly clueless as to the fact that Communism is exactly what they have been supporting.  Explain it to them.

"Liberals"/"Progressives" will typically mutter something about "equitable distribution", or "greedy corporations" or some other sub-moronic hogwash.  I'm sure any of us can easily destroy these arguments.

I find that the best arguments are ones that personalize the consequences of communism --- ROB THEM.  Seriously, hold 'em down & take their wallets.  See how they like it.

Now, leftists are so brain-addled that they're usually incapable of drawing the parallel between robbing them and Communism -- they're lost.  BUT, someone watching the argument -- some "moderate" or "slightly-less-than-crazy liberal" may actually be 'saved'.  (Oh, and I guess you can return the lib's wallet so's you don't get arrested.)

Anyway,  I am comforted to know that I'm not the only person to see this problem, and to recognize how much faster things are "progressing" these days.
