This is nonsense. The McCain Campaign was never told about this untill today. The debate selection committie knew about this before hand and selected Ifil anyway.

From that article, it looks like she's releasing a book ABOUT the race, not leaning one way or another.  Though, it wont really matter.  After seeing that Couric interview, I think the debate could be moderated by the Maverick himself and Palin would still be a train-wreck.

The fact that Ms. Ifill FAILED to mention this fact shows a significant amount of dishonesty on her part.   But HEY, what have we come to expect from the left.
