Currently, the Senate is about to vote on the DREAM ACT which Senator Durbin is attaching to the Defense bill and it will give illegal aliens various amnesties plus a free college education.

Additionally, S127 & S340 and HR371 (all the same bill titled the Agriculture Jobs Act [AgJobs]) have been introduced into both houses of Congress.  This bill will give 1.5 - ? million illegal alien agriculture workers many amnesty provisions including social security.  

None of these 4 bills has any provisions for securing the border.

While the major Amnesty Bill went down because of the people speaking up, it appears they are taking the big bill and turning it into alot of little bills so they will eventually have the entire bill legislated.  It also appears that an awful lot of the elected representatives in both houses of Congress do not care one iota about what the people think, about the security of the U.S. or about our economy.

The sponsors and co-sponsors are all the same people who were involved with the big Amnesty Bill, including John McCain who is co-sonsoring the AgJobs Bill.  Ted Kennedy is all over these bills as is my Senator Arlen Specter (a personal embarassment to me).  Anything either one of these men wants is definitely off the chart as far as I'm concerned.
