I'm a conservative and I believe global warming is real...

Only according to my theory, it's not being caused by modern man, it was actually caused by cave men. Logically speaking, who else could have brought about the end of the Ice Age if not cave men and their policies? You can't possibly tell me they invented the WHEEL but didn't have internal combustion engines, I mean really now, what do you think comes next? I say, it's all the cave man's fault. So the next time Al Gore tells you how much the temperature has risen from one year to the next, tell him my theory: it's been rising since the end of the freakin' ICE AGE!

Two words: dinosaur flatulence

Well, technically, there have been a couple of ice ages.  And this winter was a bit chilly too.  algore would like to know which event you are blaming on "cave men?"  And frankly, don't you think that term is a bit racist and sexist?  Wouldn't "subterranean dwellers" be a little more sensitive?

You do know that blaming ecological disasters, real or imagined, on an extinct yet federally protected disadvantaged group is now a federal hate-crime?  Think about that before you answer.  And remember anything they think you think may be held against you in a court of law.

Frankly, I think the problem is dinosaur flatulence.  I have heard that stuff was pretty warm.

To be technically, politically correct, which is something I know just every single person on this forum is into, the term should be:

Spelunker [Man]

I personally believe global warming is being created by Congress and it started in January 2006.  The hot air coming out of this Congress is enough to cause the entire galaxy to heat up.

"Subterranean dwellers", I like that one. That's as good as "undocumented workers"!

Of course, "undocumented" isn't correct either.  It seems they have lots of fake drivers licenses and fake social security cards.  It isn't documents they lack. . . .

I think the word you guys are searching for is "troglodyte".  See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlRXQEA0yj0

On a (somewhat) more serious note: it would be entirely consistent with global warming theory if the rapid extinction of large Pleistocene mammals (woolly mammoth, sabretooth, etc) were caused by the flatulence of those very mammals.

Think about it.  Global Warmists/Vegans complain bitterly about the methane generated by livestock raised for us carnivores.  They routinely claim that eating meat increases global warming because of the methane flatulence generated by cows & pigs.  Now imagine the amount of methane that must have been released by millions of mammoths, mastodons, woolly rhinos, giant sloths, etc, etc..  According to the Global warmists, this massive methane production would have created rapid warming, followed by the shut-down of the oceanic thermo-haline conveyor in the north Atlantic, which would plunge the earth into a rapid new ice-age.

It's a better theory than the theory that a few thousand humans hunted millions of mammoths to extinction (cuz killing mammoths with stone spears was so easy).

Well, they have discovered that the Amazon Rain Forest is producing huge quantities of methane.

Now, methane is said to have a much greater global warming potential than CO2.  Methane is considered 21 times worse than CO2 from a warming potential.  So those dandy little rain forests aren't as dandy as greenies claim!

And dinosaur flatulence isn't the only source of methane.
