Facts You ask for it you got it..

Hey guys....facts are facts!! This has to make you think a little bit, if not then keep your blinders on!
George Bush has been in office for 7 1/2 years.  The first six the economy was fine.
A little over one year ago:

   1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
     2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
     3) the unemployment rate was 4.5%.
     4) the DOW JONES hit a record high--14,000 +
   5) American's were buying new cars, taking cruises,
       vacations o'seas, living large!...


But American's wanted 'CHANGE'!   So, in 2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress & yep--we got 'CHANGE' all right. In the PAST YEAR:

       1) Consumer confidence has plummeted ;
       2) Gasoline is now over $4 a gallon & climbing!;
       3) Unemployment is up to 6.25%
       4) Americans have seen their home equity drop by
           $12 TRILLION DOLLARS & prices still dropping;
       5) 8% of American homes are in foreclosure.
       6) as I write, THE DOW is probing another low~~11,100-
           $3.5 TRILLION DOLLARS  HAS EVAPORATED FROM THEIR  
           STOCKS, BONDS & MUTUAL FUNDS INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS!


YEP, IN 2006 AMERICA VOTED FOR CHANGE..AND WE SURE GOT IT....NOW  OBAMA, the DEM'S CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT--[AND THE POLLS SAY HE'S GONNA BE 'THE MAN']--CLAIMS HE'S GONNA REALLY GIVE US CHANGE!!....JUST HOW MUCH MORE 'CHANGE' DO YA THINK YOU CAN STAND???....

I do not think this is " Change I Can Believe In. " Nor do I think others can believe in this kind of change. If they do, change ( the pocket kind ) is all we will have left.

I made a few changes from the original as this email appears to be a few months old. Unemployment and  the stock market were the numbers I inflated. Housing values have also dropped but I left that one alone.

No, we're going to get a tax cut, $1000-$1200 rebate is more like it since you don't have to be paying taxes to collect it.

The change that scares me is the Palin pick!
John McCain let the Republican Party tell him who to pick.  I also find the lack of vetting something that is going to come back an hurt our chances in November.  When Palin left the Wasilla mayor's office, the town was left with a hefty debt.  I am also concerned with someone that has very lettle government experience since Sen. McCain is so old.  We settled for Sen. McCain but this decision of someone with her background as the next in line bothers me.  
Sarah needs to withdrawal as the VP and someone more qualified/experienced needs to be on the ticket before I vote for the Republican nominee.

Geez, pditto, what about Obama.  He has less executive (actually no executive) experience than the GOP VP nominee.  Shouldn't he be replaced too?

As usual, the election comes down to the lesser of the evils. Bush is as evil as it gets and McCain is a clone. That leaves Obama. Not my first choice, but the one I'm stuck with.
