Various Democrats parroting the talking points on solving the gasoline crisis:

"We can't drill our way out of this." Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), US House of Representatives, Speaker of the House, 6/12/2008.

"We can't drill our way out of this." Senator Patty Murray, US Senate, 6/13/2008.

"We can't drill our way out of this." Senator Barack Obama (D-IL), US Senate, 2008 Democrat Nominee for President of the United States, 6/13/2008.

"We can't drill our way out of this." Senator Byron Dorgan (D-ND), US Senate, 6/15/2008 on FNC's Fox News Sunday.

These aren't the droids drillings you're looking for.

Well. It's nice to see that all the players have learned their line well, but rote repetition of a falsehood or an unproven assertion doesn't increase its truth quotient. Its truthiness quotient is another story, however.
Rush Limbaugh noticed before I did. That's why he gets paid the big bucks.

For all those illegitimate journalists and folks who seem to have a minimal vocabulary and lack spellcheckers, the word is pronounced "meem."  

I wonder who will need "gravitas" during this election?
