We are preaching to the choir.

We are preaching to the choir.

ALL
I have eliminated my web site usncitizen.blogspot.com, as the site is "Preaching to the Choir".
Instead, in these last days prior to November, my focus is going to be on comments, posts, information posts, to the LEFT>!

This may seem like turning the other cheek, but I believe we have the same virus in our Conservative Sites as the Left has in thiers'. We all love to hear each other talk about the others' viewpoints and positions.

Time to hit the center, or in this case the Left. If one can get into a site, without giving away the PERSPEC store, then your comments will hit a nerve. Thier responses are then directed to your posts, comments, and you have an opening.

Now, Rush is beginning a series on Obama's Associates, Obama's ties to the Chicago South Side Pols and his ties to Saul Alinsky. This data is out there, re: Playboy interviews and others, with Saul Alinsky. A good research effort will bring into focus, the Obama education, ties to academics, and ties to the Chicago South Side pols.

Inclusion of this data, as you shift to the Left Sites for interaction will refute and deny them the ground of Obama just being a "Community Organizer"...

Time is running out. We need to make our voices heard in as many sites as possible. Believe it or not, the USA Electorate is looking, searching for answers. We have them.

I would agree with you; but, I think you're missing an important point: Not everyone on the Left (or the center) is the same.

The situation on this forum dealing with Leftist trolls reminds me of an incident in (I think) San Francisco a year or two ago: several gay men, dressed in drag - a couple dressed as nuns - walked into a Catholic church to take holy communion.

Now, I'm not Catholic, but I've been in Catholic Churches and attended Catholic Churches, and I've always been happily accepted and treated as a brother.  But, then again, I didn't start shouting an anti-Catholic rant in the middle of the sermon.

I think everyone here would love to be able to intelligently discuss issues with liberals on this forum; but when they come in ranting about seven different things about Bush & Cheney, & Halliburton, & Anti-war garbage, it becomes impossible to have a rational argument.

In short, if folks aren't willing to abide by the rules & respect the fact that this is a convservative forum -- they need to go -- just like the gay men dressed as nuns should have been kicked out of the church in San Francisco.  There is a limit to "inclusion" and "tolerance".

I admire your desire to go and spread the truth among Leftist blogs & forums -- I wish you luck.

But, I think you'll find that it will be like a devout Catholic walking into a meeting of Cross-dressing homosexuals and expecting to change their minds with reason, fact, and logic.

In other words, the vast majority of Leftists who inhabit the internet and participate on Daily Kos (for example) are not "reachable".  They cannot be swayed, convinced, or engaged in rational argument.

More to the point, the population of Liberals who are routinely on the internet is a small, radical sub-set of the American populace.

Those liberals who are NOT extreme, and Centrists/Moderates in general, just don't participate in those forums & blogs.  Those are the folks who are going to work, coming home, accepting what they hear from the MSM, and going about their lives.  I don't think that you'll have much success in reaching those people on the internet -- they're not here.  I think, instead, that you'll end up addressing the most extreme radical leftists who will not accept your "facts", and who cannot be swayed by logic and reason.
Public sentiment is everything. With public sentiment, nothing can fail; without it nothing can succeed.  -Abraham Lincoln

I applaud your efforts.  I feel like I have single-handedly been doing this starting with my liberal friends on my facebook page that feel they have the right to express their hatred of all things conservative in their "status updates" and express their disdain directly to me anytime I join any group that is conservative.  I figured I could boot them off as friends, or take them on.  However, like the previous poster said, taking them on has pretty much been like she described in her analogy.  However, I am still trying!!!  One of my conservative friends and myself have been pouring so much info to our gay friend as he is completely misled about EEOC and thinks all republicans are evil!!!  Come hell or high water, we are TRYING to make him see the light...but I might add that trying to reeducate a cult member is VERY hard...ha!

Wherever you talent lies, concerned conservatives everywhere should get involved. This election more people are motivated than ever before. One thing I have noticed in my area; McCain lawn posters where I would usually see Democratic ones. Even if your only ability at this time is to host a lawn poster or bumper sticker, do it. Undecided people seeing these things are impressed, the more signs the more the impression.
Without victory there is no peace.
