Any conservatives here have anything nice to say about Obama

OK - so based on my original post it sounds like you would like to be (or should be) classified as "hit-and-run"?  Remarkable that you can't find a single positive thing to say.  I can find many positive things to say about McCain.  I can even find positive things to say about George W and Sarah Palin.

Um,... yeah ..... uh, .... I guess I'm not understanding what you mean by "sincere".  Lot's of folks here have said lots of things about Obama, and I think they were all sincere in their opinions.

If, by some unususal quirk of the English language, you mean that we should try to say something nice about Obama; I'll try.

About the best thing that I can say about the man is that it's possible, ... just possible ..., that he's not as bad a human being as we Conservatives think, but that he's actually more of a bumbling doofus being used as a tool by more insidious minds.

How's that?

Sorry - that doesn't work - you had it until you said that he just might be a bumbling doofus.  You can't think of a single positive, unqualified thing to say?

Well Seabee, I have to say I expected you to be able to come us with something positive - and you didn't disappoint me.  So thanks for that.  I do wonder about your comment that "we don't know enough about him".  I've used that same argument with Palin and gotten blasted for it at this forum.

that's because Governor Palin's life is an open book..We KNOW where she was at every point in her life.  We DON"T know that about Obama.

It sounds like you are arguing that the Republicans have had 18 months to "figure out" Obama - and that that isn't enough time - and that the Democrats have had 1 month to "figure out" Palin - and that that is *enough* time?

many people, conservatives AND democrats have mr. obama figured out IN SPITE OF the media.   What the media and the left would have us believe of Sarah Palin shows an evilness on their part and their total bias toward a marxist, mr. obama.   God only knows why they want to do this to America.

I'd like to point out that the MSM has not vetted Barry at all..not at all.  There is no paper trail.  There are no transcripts for school.  He never wrote a single thing for the law review when the President of the Harvard Law Review, his birth certificate is missing in action, he voted present more times than he actually cast a yes or no vote in the state senate.  His associations with outright communists have been hidden or minimalized by the MSM.  His actual teaching of Sal Alinsky to street organizers when an ACORN operative has been ignored.  His past is fuzzy.  His true ideology is ignored.  He is an enigma and his 143 days in the Senate prior to his announcing he's running for President don't garner any real substance other than introducing a real communist bill (Global Poverty Act) and a bill to support the Congo.

In contrast, the MSM has totally jumped on Sarah Palin and when not getting dirt has made up dirt.  In the process, she has been vetted thru the real truth.

Mr. Rat, please explain why you want this wonderful country to end up the People's Republic of America?  Obama is a communist, marxist, Sal Alinsky follower.  His agenda is so unAmerican that if he's successful with his goals, this country will not resemble what our founders created.

Plutarch warned, "The real destroyer of the liberties of the people is he who spreads among them bounties, donations and benefits."

The nicest thing about Obama is that he's not a Bush clone or republican.
