Randi Rhodes was indefinitely suspended from Air America for remarks she made about Hillary "Rocky" Clinton on March 22.  Will anybody notice?  Will anybody care?  It evidently took Air America management 13 days to learn of the comments.  I guess they don't listen to Air America either.  They evidently heard about it from a Youtube video and bloggers!  I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP!  

Get this quote:  

In a statement, Charlie Kireker, the chair of Air America, said the radio network “encourages strong opinions about public affairs but does not condone such abusive, ad hominem language by our hosts.”

What Kireker means by that is "the radio network 'encourages strong opinions about public affairs but does not condone such abusive, ad hominem language by our hosts...'" unless they are making the statements about conservatives.

Truthfully, I was really surprised to hear a liberal talk that way about another liberal. That kind of talk is generally reserved for conservatives.

No one will notice her departure. No one listens to Air America...and no one cares.

The Air America audience just called.  He said his radio dial turned all the way up but he hasn't heard the "F-word" all morning.   He wants to know if everything is okay with Randi and Al?  

Randi who??? Who the h*** is that?

Yeah, well, that is about what I expected. Air America. Wasting valuable power and radio frequencies for 4 years.
